After the trauma he experienced, Orhan is removed from his teaching position and begins living under the supervision of his wife Elif and his brother-in-law Oğuz. After stopping his medication, Orhan can no longer distinguish between reality and illusion. Eventually, he realizes that the entities he is fighting are not outside, but within his own mind. For him, salvation lies in confronting a forgotten sin.
